Talk to the man!  I am sure there are things you wish you could change about him but love him just the same.  Nobody is perfect and even if they are close to it it doesn't mean they are happily ever after with their mates.  Look at Shania Twain and Christie Brinkley who are so gorgeous and their husbands cheated on them with mousy looking women.  To be important to him, you have to make yourself important to you and that means having confidence.  Don't know how long you've been married, but if it's been a while then obviously he likes what he sees.  Maybe doing something once or every other week, like a date night between the two of you will bring the spark back.  Focus on each other and don't point out your faults!  That's a downer for guys.  Good luck!

Some great thoughts, cm. I agree that a good self image and valuing ourselves has much to do with how a spouse regards us.

You should first work on feeling important to yourself, then perhaps the rest will follow if you still need it too.
