I suppose it’s all about intention, really. It’s not illegal or morally wrong - there’s just the whole taboo around being naked, and it’s a bit weird to want to see your son without his clothes.
You don’t need to be seeing your son naked at that age – unless you're asking because he has a medical condition of some sort and you're wondering if it's ok for your to look to give him any advice, in that case, I think it would be fine.
I mean, if you see your son naked by accident, there’s not much you can do about it. It might be awkward for both parties, but it’s still okay! As a mom, you get used to it happening occasionally.
Wanting to see your son naked is a different matter, though. It’s a bit weird to want to see anyone naked without the intention of admiring their body.
At the end of the day, if he’s comfortable being naked around you, and you’re comfortable seeing him naked, then I suppose there’s nothing wrong with it. You’re not harming anyone!
