The high hormone levels in pregnancy causes yeast infections. Before sex, it should be treated. Condom can minimize the risk but can not protect this completely. Because the spore of the fungus are present in the vaginal discharge and this discharge usually spread to the pubic area and testes of the male partner leading to a symptom less fungal infection. This infection can be retransmitted in you by ping pong effect.

No you should not have sex with the yeast infection because you are already suffering from a disease and if you continue having sex you partner will be facing some sort of disease which can be transferred from you so you should restrict your self during the infection.

Hi anon,

No, you should not have sex while you have a yeast infection. Having sex now will only spread the yeast infection to your partner, and when you're all better and have sex again the yeast infection will be passed back to you. This can go on forever and ever so please, refrain from sex!

A yeast infection is not a disease but it is a change in the ph balance and it can be passed back and forth so sex isnt a good idea but some people do it anyway

It is better to use a condom if you have a yeast infection. But, isn't having sex uncomfortable with a yeast infection?
