Recently, I started talking to a guy I know again. He always asks if I want to talk and I always take the time to reply. Then he started opening my messages and never replying to me. What should I do?

Make yourself a nice cup of tea.

Are you actually speaking to him face to face or are you talking about texting?

Stop talking to him.

Well, he did ask if you wanted to talk---and apparently he never said he wanted to respond.

Text him and ask why he never responds.

Proceed as you wish with that information.

Move on. He is most likely using you when he gets bored.

1) texting is NOT talking (it's a very precarious form of communication, because there are no physical or audio means to help judge a persons intent

2) talking over the phone is talking (gives you audio cues but lacks physical cues that help to determine a persons intent)

3) talking face to face provides some level of being able to judge attitude and intention

So .. Give up on trying to read things into texting .. You cant create what's missing. It's the least dependable way to communicate
