I am 14 years old, my mom has informed me that starting in the new year I have to start wearing a skirt or dress everyday, all the time, how could I get out of having to wear skirts and dresses?

There's not much you can do about it, OP. Unless you can convince her otherwise, you'll have to wear skirts all the time.

I tried to convince her earlier today, I begged her, that made it worse and she cleaned out all my pants from my wardrobe after the fight I had with her over it, she made me change into a skirt and took the pants I was wearing also. So yes now I have to wear these skirts.

As a 63 year old woman who VERY RARELY wears anything but pants, I can't imagine why your mom is doing this. That said, you are a 14 year old child and she is your mom so I guess you'll be wearing skirts all the time.

I had a fight with her today about it and as a result she made me start today, I had to wear a skirt today and have to wear one all the time from now on, or a dress.

Persistence!

Mrs Didge's mother tried to get to force her to wear dresses, too. Didn't take. She's 76 now and still wearing shorts or slacks.

Sounds rather strange to me too .. I'm not sure why she is being so insistant about this.  I'm thinking she is trying to force you to be more 'lady like' .. At least to the standards she grew up with.  Trouble is, as much as I too complain about 'today's standards' .. Forcing someone to wear only dresses does not "create" a lady to ANY standard.  Attitude does.

Considering you are only 14 .. A child in the eyes of the law, I'm afraid you don't have much a choice nor a voice about what momma bear wants.  You will just have to keep trying to convince her there are better ways to accomplish what I think she is trying to accomplish.

It is me who asked the question, my mom is adamant about this, today she started taking pants out of my wardrobe saying that I will no longer need them, tomorrow she is taking me shopping for skirts that I will have to wear instead.
