Nope. Why waste my time and energy on someone I know won't like me or appreciate what I've done for them. Instead, I'd rather use that energy for someone who will appreciate it. I don't mind helping people, but I won't do it as a bargaining chip to be liked. Does that make sense?
Sure! Sometimes helping is just the right thing to do, and I don't expect anything in return. I've gone out of my way to anonymously help others. They don't even know who did the good deed.
As far as trying to "win" their friendship, not since I was a little kid.
A couple of times but I've learned over the years that some, you just can't reach. I gave up on that quite some time ago.

I'll go out of my way to help someone but not just to please them.
I don't go out of my way to please anyone .. Except maybe my grandson and husband. If someone doesn't like me .. That's fine and their choice.
Ummmmmmm nope :) I used to when I was younger but once I hit my 30's I always speak my mind and am true to myself. I know I can come across as a bee-ach at times but I know I have a good heart and that I don't put up with bs... I like me at the end of the day and I don't mind if some people don't because of it .. BAAAA-AM!
