There's nothing wrong with liking older men, I do.... But only when you're older. At 18 you can like whomever you want legally, at 14, older men are just, well...illegal.

AA has good advice. Depending on your state, the DA and your parents, a boy 17 could be charged with statutory rape or other charges, which may be a felony, which may be on his back for life. Is that something you're willing to risk?
At 18 you can legally date a man from 18 to 100.
You're 14 years old. At this point in your life, it's up to your parents if you'll be allowed to date someone older. Once you are out on your own, you can date whomever you want, but when you are living at home, you have to go by your parents' rules.
The problem that you run into when you're a minor is the sexual aspect of the relationship. When you're underage - and you'd have to Google this for the state you live in - there is an age of majority if you were to engage in sexual activity. You don't want a "boyfriend" to be labeled a sexual predator just because you like older men. No one would want them to end up on the sex offender site.
Your best bet is to like all the older men that you want, but date according to what the household rules are in your family.
That would depend on what you mean by "older men". Do you means boys of 16 to 18? Young guys 19-25? Or do you mean the real McCoy?
Best advice? Don't go there. It's a great formula for ruining your life -- even if the "older man" you end up with isn't a paedophile, which is likely since a normal man wouldn't find much in common with a little girl.

That said I dated boys my own age, because it was all about romantic notions of a teenager. In reality I liked the characters Charlie Sheen played not the person himself, I didn't know Charlie Sheen snorted cocaine and had sex with prostitutes (I didn't really understand the enormity of sexual relations full stop). All these matters were far from my young mind.
A relationship with a man is very different and comes with a lot of adult experiences for which you need to be emotionally mature enough to handle, you are not mature enough at fourteen. Enjoy your youth, it passes by in the blink of an eye, there's enough time for the adult responsibilities when you are an adult.
