So this boy and I are friends, we are text a lot too. I'm not sure if he likes me or not, so, would it be too forward to invite him to a movie? We are on the same sports team, he told me he wanted to "stay in touch" when it's over.

If you guys text and he then states that he wants to keep in touch with you when the season is over, I'm pretty sure he likes you. If he hated you, he wouldn't be responding to your texts and he definitely would not want to keep in touch with you once the season was over.

So, go for it - invite him to the movies. Have several choices in mind so if he doesn't like one, you have another option. Good luck.

Learn to listen to yourself and trust yourself on things like this. If your gut feeling is telling you that he does like you, then you look at the things that are telling you that he does - texting - wanting to keep in touch, etc.

When you learn to trust your instincts, you will feel more confident in sizing up a situation. I hope this works out for you. Remember, just talk to him as you always do if he says no to the movie. You might ask if there is something else he would like doing. Good luck!
