If this were me, I would do a bit of research. If you have insurance, go to your insurance company's website and see if they cover this. They might have a list of therapists that are covered under your policy.

Once you have a list, do a bit more research. Type in the doctor's name and the word "review" - such as Jane E. Smith, MD reviews. That should bring up some results for you to go through and see if anyone has written a review about her or her practice. Good luck.

You might try getting a suggestion from your primary physician.

Everyone is so specialized these days it seems that they refer people out if a band aid needs to be applied.

The upside is that they usually have the names of good therapists/ counselors to work with you.
