Dating and love are two completely different things. One is about exploration, the other is about sharing. It would be impossible to answer this question without being the man concerned.

The main reason for dating is to figure out the type of person you want to marry. That does not mean you will find the person, though. Especially if you only date one type of person.
And true "love" is more than the physical attraction you have for someone. It requires working at a relationship. So if you date just to "be with someone", rather than forming relationships - you never really experience love.
