I would have asked Mrs Didge but she was talking to our grand daughter who just rang to say that she had given birth to her first baby yesterday. They both sound pretty happy.
Direct answer: Yep, happiness is what it's all about, but it's much more than that. Happiness is only one of the benefits. :)
People who truly love each other....belong together.....couldn't envision life without the other....yes, those married people are happy. Do they argue? Sure they do...most people don't agree on everything!
Yep, there are happily married people out here, but we don't make the news.
27 years and wouldn't do it any differently.
Well I can't speak from experience as I'm not quite there yet :P
But yes I've seen many really happy people in marriages.
Speaking for myself,
The first time? NO!!!
The second time? VERY happy.
If they aren't ... There's divorce
