I have this girl hitting on me... I'm living with my partner but this girl follows me to my work and she's always waiting outside. How can I stop this?

Does she know that you're already in a relationship and living with someone? You could tell her " Look, my partner has noticed you hanging around lately. Lucky for me, she knows I would never cheat on her with ANYONE. I'm so glad to be in a solid relationship." That may be what she needs to hear and hopefully she'll get the message.

Of course you have. Happens all the time, even to Q&A website contributors.

If it's actually "hitting on you", just say "bye".

Walk right up to her and say, "Sarah, (or whatever her name is) I've told you I'm in a committed relationship. You choose to disregard how I feel about Brad (your boyfriend). What you are doing is stalking me. If you do not cease and desist, I will take legal action against you to MAKE you stop bothering me. The choice is yours. I have the right to live my life without you making my life a living hell. Even if I were not in a relationship with Brad, there is no way I would be with you. Are we clear on this or do I need to contact the police and my attorney?"

Look her right in the eyes when you are telling her this in a firm, clear voice. It would be helpful if you had witnesses when you do this. Then, get in your car and drive to the police station. If she is following you, this may get her to stop once she sees where you are headed.

Don't be afraid to go in and talk to them about this situation and ask for their advice. They deal with this kind of thing all the time and can advise you on your next step if she doesn't stop. Good luck.
