My grandpa only missed out on conscription by a couple of months. If he had died in the war, he wouldn't have met my grandma, my mum and her two sisters would never have existed, so me and four of my cousins would never have existed either.
So, my grandfather was in the war and if he died then my dad wouldn't be here because my grandfather is my dad's dad and it was meant for my mom and dad to be together. Isn't that scary if he died in the war me and my sister wouldn't be here?
