Can I legally refuse to live with my parents and live with my grandparents if my parents are making me depressed? I'm 14.

If you're parents are making you depressed try talking to someone about it. If you can't talk to your parents, talk to your teachers or school counsellor. An adult will give the best advice, but seek support from your friends and other relatives.

Below is a link to a site where you can anonymously talk to someone who can give you great advice without registration.

It depends where you live and how old you are, but honestly I would say any issue you have with your parents is usually resolvable.

Even if you are certain you must move away, maybe it is best to discuss this matter with them once you've both had a cooling off period. That's where grandparents come in really handy - ask them if you can stay for a little while, and then arrange to sit and talk with your parents after a week or so to see what can be done about the problems between you.

You will see that time will allow things to settle down.
