Well, I don't think it's wrong per se, however, he needs to be able to pick up his daughter, and if he waits inside the doorway for his daughter, I don't see anything wrong with that. Now, if he's staying at the house to spend time with his daughter, and you're not there, I don't think that's appropriate.
