Transgender means that the person has the body of one gender but identifies with the opposite gender. (Transsexual is a term the LGBTQPA+ community no longer uses).
A transgender person's gender is considered to be the gender they were identified with. So a biological male who identifies as female but is attracted to males would be considered "straight". A biological male who identifies as female but is attracted to females would be considered a "lesbian".
