First don't think of him as a BF but a friend and then do your homework and find out his likes and dislikes.  Find some in common and ask him questions about that subject and youre off and running but take things nice and slow and don't tell him you like him, let him figure that out for himself.  The liken -dislike thing works at any age .  Good luck
