Once you have a girl in mind (my advice another homeschooler)
1. Strike up a conversation. Get to know her. BUT BE SUBTLE.
2.Write her a Secret Admirer note. Or two. Or six. If your doing a bunch of 'em, slowly give her clues to your identity. Then five the biggest clue on the last one. If she guesses you, then continue to be better friends. She'll warm up to you.
Just last summer, my best friend was in a relationship with a kid who is home schooled so it's definitely possible. What made it possible was that this kid was really involved in community events and made tons of friends with kids who were home schooled as well as kids who weren't. That's how he made a network of people that eventually led him to dating my best friend for a while.
So if you want to get a girlfriend, you first need to make a lot of friends with people. You just need to get yourself into community events and/or community groups. It may sound intimidating at first, but once you start you'll realize that it's actually quite fun and you get to meet all sorts of people. Through those people, you might make connections to your potential girlfriend.
