Food usually does the trick. She may be having cravings while on her period, so find out what she feels like eating and try to source it as soon as possible.

Sometimes that's a bit tricky because women tend to crave really weird combinations like pickles with cherries, and these cravings have a habit of showing up at 3 in the morning...

You could also try being "cuddlier" and more affectionate. It's likely she'll be feeling low, tired and achy - so spending some time cosying up and unwinding may help.

Running her a hot bubble bath might also score some points.

If all else fails, leave her to it and go on holiday for a couple of days until the whole thing blows over. Just don't forget to buy her something nice from the duty free shop!
