How can I feel more motivated to do things? I have lost my determination and willpower in all activities.

Try something new

If you lose motivation maybe you need to freshen  things up, it's true that you can have too much of a good thing, so try something different.

Look after yourself

If you can't bring yourself to change, then maybe you need to raise your health levels, do some exercise, eat healthy food, treat yourself to an early night. Then get up early in the morning to give yourself lots of time to focus on just one thing.

Don't get distracted

Once you know what you want to focus on remove all distractions, if you want to write try going to the park with a pen and paper. Laptops, tablets and phones are great, but it's too easy to get distracted by all the things you can do with them, and if you don't get much done, you will lose motivation.

Oh, this is a very big question! I'm writing an ebook on this topic which will be available in a few days. I can share it with you once it's done. The short answer to your question is to motivate yourself to do stuff, you have to keep doing things and build habits. Habits keep us focused, on track and motivated. Nothing gets you out of the funk faster than action. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Pick an area of your life in which you want to see movement. Something you've been wanting to do for a while but keep on putting on the back burner.

2. Break it down into small steps aka habits. The key to these habits is that they have to give you energy and you have to enjoy them.

3. Do it consistently for a period of time.

Once you developed a habit around this activity, add one more and keep going. This is how you use very small activities to instigate monumental shifts in your life.
