First of all I think that you should make sure that it is really what you want to do not just what he wants...once you break it you can't get it back.....but if it is what you really want to do then make sure you like the guy or tht he is the one you want to remember you gave it to...if your still sure then you should let him know that you are a virgin and that it is your first time so that he will be gentle because your first time can be painful...breaking your virginity is when you have sex and your hymen is broken....usually the women bleeds a little so don't freak out if you do.....on the other hand some women don't so don't stress over it if you don't.....just keep in mind that is big decision and you should think it over first... I guess I could start out by saying that "breaking" or rather losing your virginity is somewhat a grey area in todays society, especially in the Western World.
In theory, when a male and female engage in vaginal intercourse for the first time (whether it be the male or the females first time), they are at that point "losing" their virginity, or, are no longer a virgin (a virgin being someone who has never engaged in sexual intercourse previously).
Now, as I said, the grey area comes from the fact that a lot of factions in society believe that it does not need to be actual penetrative vaginal sex that makes you lose your virginity but rather any sexual experience that you are involved in e.g. - oral sex, anal sex or masturbation with a partner.
Losing your virginity can be for some people a major step in their lives. In todays world with all the sexually transmitted diseases floating around and obviously the fact that you can get pregnant from having sex only once, I think it's important to really make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. Depending on your age, there could be peer pressure coming from friends who have done it or want you to do it, etc which isn't necessarily the best circumstances to do it under. Uhmm.. I don't know I kinda disagree with the fact that he should be the one or what so ever.. I just don't believe in that.. But kyriamm is right.. First make sure you use protection so that you won't hv to worry about being pregnant later on... And also you may bleed up 2 four days so don't panic.. :) and make sure you check out the birth control stuff before you get involved in sex and discuss it with your partner...:)
