From gay/bisexual musicians and pop artists, through to TV personalities and politicians, the gay and bisexual demographic is a key part in all walks of life.
Despite this, it is only fairly recently that gays and bisexuals have begun to feature prominently in the media.
Famous gay and bisexual people In my opinion, the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender) community should be proud of the entertainers, musicians, TV personalities, and other famous people who have been brave enough to 'come out' and be honest about their sexuality.
Although it may not seem like such a big deal now, it's not so long ago that declaring yourself gay or bisexual could have bee seen as 'professional suicide' in many careers. The fact that people were brave enough to buck that trend means that we are all afforded a more tolerant society today.
