Parents’ choice, made by Wal-Mart, is one of the best rated diapers on the market, their absorbency is seen as the best in the diaper world and they also leak very little. They are also relatively inexpensive when compared to brands like Huggies and Pampers.

When purchasing diapers the most important things to look out for are:

A notch for the navel area on newborn diapers
Elastic leg bands
Elastic waistbands
Absorbent cores
Breathable covers to keep baby dry
Diapers with adjustable tape or Velcro fasteners

A mixture of high quality parts makes a good overall diaper. Fit is the most important consideration to be taken into account as no amount of absorbency will keep a child dry if the fit is poor. Also, something else to consider is that not all brands are sized the same. This means that you should make sure that if you change brand your child fits into it comfortably.

Disposable diapers have many advantages, they don’t have to be cleaned, they fit easily with Velcro straps and they can be thrown out after use. However they are usually thrown into landfills and so cause an environmental impact; especially as they are made of plastic which takes long periods of time to decompose.

So when choosing, try to pick eco-friendly disposable nappies to try and have as little impact on the environment as possible. These are made from wood pulp, corn and wheat and do not have any chlorine therefore are a lot more environmentally friendly than traditional disposable nappies.

So overall there are plenty of things to consider beside absorbency, there is also an environmental impact to think of as well as fit, elasticity, adjustments and also if they are breathable. With all this in mind you can safely choose the best diaper for your child.

The best thing when doing science project is keep as many records as possible and take pictures of each step.. And do line graph...

Remember to also test cloth diapers...and most expensive, mid priced and the cheapest,..etc

1. Take the first diaper, and measure the central part with a ruler drawing a square 7cm by 7cm, with the pen.2. Cut it out so you end up with a 7cm square of that diaper.
3. Take out one of the bowls, and label it with a sticky note that has the name of the diaper that will be used in that bowl.
4. Measure 500 ml of water in a graduated cylinder.
5. Pour the 500 ml. Of water into the bowl.
6. Place the diaper square in the right bowl.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for the rest of the diapers.
8. Wait 5 minutes for water to absorb into the diaper
9. Remove diaper from water but allow it to drip back into the bowl for 15 seconds. Throw the diaper piece away.
10. Pour the water in the first bowl into the graduated cylinder.
11. Measure the amount of water in the cylinder.
12. Subtract the amount of water that was in the graduated cylinder after the diaper was thrown away (step11) from 500
(The original amount.)
13. Record the amount of water that absorbed in the diaper.
14. Repeat steps 9-12 to the rest of the diapers.
15. Clean up the mess.
16. Repeat test two more times and find average.

Pampers diapers can hold more water for less time and does not weight more.
Pampers diapers hold more water but when it is pressured, the liquid comes out, and it can hold the water for less time because next morning the diaper was wet outside. At 3:00pm the water was starting to come out.
Member’s Mark from Sam's can held ¼ less water than Pampers but when it is pressured, no water come out and can hold it for more time because the next morning the diaper was not wet outside. At 3:00pm the diaper was still dry outside.
This is why my parents buy Member’s Mark to keep my siblings dry for more time and they spend less money. I can advise other parents to expend less money in diaper that will hold liquid for more time.

I'm doing a project about it in school && I got the brand Kirkland it holds over 2 1/4 pints of water . You can find it at Costco ; && Huggies are also pretty good they absorbed 2 pints but Pampers only absorbed about 1 pint of water. So I recommend Kirkland the best (:

If this is a science project... I would suggest buying at least 3 different brands.. The most expensive..the middle and the cheapest...

I would suggest easyfit diapers for your kids because they can absorb more water for less time and they are disposable diapers so you have an advantage, that they don’t have to be cleaned. And there is no leak issues. The price is pretty good too. We also still use a night time type diaper at night when your child is heavier soaks. Daytime we also use these and we don't have any issues.

Easyfit adult diapers are the best choice if you think about the quality of a diaper. They are premium quality diapers and their absorbancy is best with no leakage problem. You can purchase online through the website.

I buy Japanese diapers https://thebestfromjapan.com/ , they are made of cotton and prevent diaper rash on the skin. The presence of a special indicator allows you to easily track the degree of filling. The elastic belt of the diaper stretches, and thanks to this baby's movements are not restricted. The newborn models have a cutout in the navel area, which reduces the risk of injury to the wounds.

I always wondered the same question but this year I did it as a test for my science fair project. I had six different diapers. Huggies Little Movers, Luvs, A no brand, Pampers, and a Huggies Pure and Natural. The Luvs held the most at 8 cups of water, even though it held the most it sagged the most too. As the no brand diaper sagged the least. Other results may be different though.

There are many brands of diapers available in the market and all of them claim that their product holds the maximum water or liquid substances in it. Every brand wants their diaper to be having the highest selling capacity in the market and liquid holding capacity is the main priority they want to achieve so that the baby does not get cranky when it feels that it is getting wet. In order to avoid that, every company claims that their product holds maximum water. It can be quite difficult to tell you which brand holds the maximum water but instead I shall tell you which brand of diaper sells highest all around the world.

Some of the brands of diapers which are very popular all around the world are Pampers, Huggies, Drypers and GoodNites among many others.

Borrow new diapers from someone with a baby and measure and pour the water in them. You might even be able to stop in at a day care center and ask them for a few different diapers if you explain that this is for a science project.
