The same thing happened to me, a few years later they found I had fibroid tumors, I guess most woman have them, but mine was large and had to be removed, if you have a large fibroid, lay down on your back and carefully push on your tummy and lower abdomen, do you feel anything hard like a bump, if its large you can feel it, that's a fibroid, usually bothers if you lift on heavy stuff too or do a lot of bending, have your doctor check it out, before it gets too large they can easily remove it or do other things to try and stop its growth, they are very common in a woman's uterus, but not many women have them grow large enough to be removed, if your having pain during sex it could be a fibroid, that's what mine was. The pain in the stomach during sex can be due to spasm of muscles or pressure on muscles at certain body positions. I advise you to visit a doctor and get ultrasound and also get proper diagnosis and treatment.
