I must have lived a sheltered life. I am no spring chicken but I only remember one.

Lol! I remember those candy cigarettes. My Sister and I use to pretend and if you blew out (instead of in) "smoke" would come out of them. It was like some sort of powder dust.

I remember every single one. I still have my skate key (not the skates) and remember my house was 3 rings on the party line.

I'm older than dirty dirt.

Edit: I just noticed that you used my picture as a backdrop for your question list. I'm flattered.

Thin skinned runny nose upstart took off !!!
I put up a poster, "Lost Rock." Someone chucked one through my window, but it wasn't Pebbles.
What a mess.

A rainy day activity for us a kids was putting the green stamps in books. My mom would sit us down with our own plate with a damp sponge and we used that to wet the stamps. I think my mom outfitted her kitchen when she first got married by using green stamps.

I know about all of them, but 3 I did not experience. So does that make just old and not old as dirt?

BTW, my grandmother had a party line and kept it because it was less expensive. She eventually had a party line of one. The only problem with that was should couldn't use a touch tone and had to use a rotary dial phone. I used to dread calling people who had numbers that had 8s and 9s in them.

We had a four party line. It was terrible waiting to see how many times it would ring. Then you just know everyone answered it anyway. There was no secrets.

In heavy rain our "metal milk box would sail down the street and around the cornor in the rushing rain.

If you translate my Latin Name, Vetustior Humo it means "Older than Dirt".

Had all but number 7 . . . . Most of the ones I did have were left overs of the past generation so there is hope that I might be just the same age as dirt . . . Or dirt's younger sibling.

Yep, I'm older than dirt, a few things different to UK but have alternatives that are the same.
