Do you know someone or do you have a family member in an interracial relationship and/or marriage? Are you happy or unhappy?

I have neighbors that are interracial and they are a very happily married couple. I love them both and don't have a problem with two humans in love. On the other side of my house is a family with 3 daughters who are all in interracial relationships.

My cousin is white and married to an Asian woman and they seem pretty happy to me. They've been married for 6 years.

I was the only one.

I don't have a problem with it at all.  Several of my relatives have interracial marriages, and I now have a bunch of delightfully mixed younger cousins.

I wasn't sure of the categories anymore---when I was a kid in the 50's, interracial was synonymous with "black and white" couple.

And even though my understanding was updated before today, I found out today that what I might have mentioned in my "yes" answer is not actually designated as as "interracial," but rather as “interethnic.”

So I know a couple in an "interethnic" and happy marriage who have a daughter who is "beautiful."

An old phrase I once read predicated of some of Hispanic heritage is "of a race of kings descended."

I consider the daughter at this age to be the physical embodiment of royalty.  (She'll be 1 sometime next month.)

Well, just in  my little rural cul de sac we have Asian/Caucasian, Hispanic/Caucasian,  and across the main road black/Caucasian.  And this is the deep red part of CAlkifornias.
