Why is my boyfriend acting strange? our conversations have only been ten minutes long and then he comes online and doesn't even reply to me. He just texted me out of nowhere saying he needs to go as if we just ended a conversation.

We do not know your boyfriend, so we don't know. If you have asked him and he hasn't answered, maybe you should talk to one of his friends if there is something going on.

Sounds long distance, its pretty normal. One of you need to step up and call each other texting and chatting do not always work.

Do not delve deep into the guessings. Ask him straight what is wrong and why he did it. Nothing than direct questions will put it clear for you. I had a long distance  relationship too and believe if you stay honest to yourself and the other person, it will work out.

Ask him and if you're not happy with his answer, either let it go or peaceful let him go. This is not his first, second or last time he's been disrespectful to you and it won't be his last.

Maybe he just doesn't know what to talk about and doesn't want the awkward tension in the conversation so he leaves

Engage in healthy conversation . .

Communication is key if this is going to be a relationship that will last. If he doesn't want to talk, then regardless of WHAT it is he is hiding . . The inability to simply communicate with a partner is one of the biggest warning signs and SHOULD be a deal breaker.

Too many possible explanations (good, neutral, and bad) for his behavior.

And too many unknowns about the history of your relationship with him to give you any meaningful advice.

If you are in a relationship where there is no communication .. Then its not a relationship .. Period.  Perhaps at one time you both entered into it for all the right reasons .. Problem is, you both .. Emphasis on BOTH, have to stay in it for all the right reasons .. Perhaps, it's time to rethink why you consider this a 'relationship' at all if it feels like he has vacated it.
