I would do that. That would be a nice idea. Generally it would show that you care and looking forward the date as you are not ignorant to forget about it and her like it's nothing special.

All you have to keep in mind is to keep your boundaries and make sure to not cross your line according to her personality, belief, principles and the closeness of your relation with her.

If you have been texting all along, then keep the same pace. If not at least the day before send a text stating you are looking forward to the date and that you will see them at whatever time you had arranged to pick her up. (or meet.)
