Homemade things, pictures always and any kind of help you can offer her. Oh yah and hugs with a simple "thank you mom" are always nice!
"I love and appreciate you," is the message to send.
My son did that. He gave me a single rose, said "I love you," and gave me a wonderful long hug.
We don't want 'stuff.' We want you.
We don't know what your Mom would like. But most Moms just enjoy spending time with their "kids". You don't have to spend a lot of money or any at all to make her happy. Just think about what SHE would enjoy. She'll appreciate whatever you do because she loves you.
She would most definitely love to get a visit or hug and kiss or phone call or 📧 or text.
A handwritten I Love you card.
Anything you do or say with LOVE she will 💗 it.
I'm getting nothing.
Toblerone bar:
I saw a survey on tv earlier this week that asked moms what they wanted most for Mothers' Day, the overwhelming answer was family time. So if you live with or near your mother, spend the day with her. Just don't make her cook.
If you can't spend the day with her call her! Also a gift certificate for something she enjoys doing. If she likes gardening, a gift card for a nursery. If she like getting her nails done, a gift certificate for a mani/pedi. If she enjoys cooking a gift certificate for a cooking class, or a kitchen supply store. Plus flowers are always nice.
