Trying for 5 months to have a baby. Need advice?

You need to start by going and getting a check-up with your OB-GYN to see if you have any medical problems that are preventing you from getting pregnant. If the problem is not you, then your partner needs to be tested to check things out on that end.

Your next step would be a doctor that specializes in fertility problems. Good luck.

Our most recent granddaughter was born about 5 months ago.

The "kids" have been married for 3 years are were trying for about 1 year.

Usually, it's good to give it at least a year before talking to your doctor about it.

(On the other hand, if you change your mind about having one soon, conception seems to happen almost immediately.)

Before you go that route, make sure you got the income for it. That's where most couples mess up. Love alone isn't enough.
