No, but sometimes I feel uneasy about it if I am somewhere I don't know the shadows or noises common to that place.

I've been scared of the dark massively for all my life, but I guess I'm not afraid of the dark itself I'm afraid of what's in it.

People are afraid of the dark because they aren't sure what might in the dark with them. Me? I don't need to fear the dark for I am that unknown thing in the darkness that people fear. Wanna play a game?

Not at all. But i can get uncomfortable by the sudden darkness. Human desire to fear of unknown, so usually the main cause of dark fearing is the blinding & unknown surrounding. But as long as we teach ourselves from inside & keep improving on our fear, that there's only one way to stop fearing & that's "facing" it. To rise against it (just like the same closet-monster fear toward so many children, when you face the fear & open up the closet, there's nothing there.& you'll not scare anymore also if there would be any monster in there, you scared them by your braveness & strength & it made them to fade away) & rising against such fears would teach us another lesson as well, that sometimes we need to walk through the unknown to know more, to gain & reach so many successes. That's a life pattern.

I wouldn't say I'm afraid of it, but it can be spooky sometimes,

Take last night, for example. I was reading an article called ''two-sentence horror stories'' which was a bad idea, but I did it anyway, and basically had endless nightmares. They weren't too bad because it was stuff that wasn't really scary to me personally, it was just the generic, typical scary stories.

So yeah. That was fun.

Yes, but that's because I used to have night terrors. I never remembered the dreams, but something always makes me feel uneasy. Almost like I'm supposed to be afraid, but I don't know why. A subconscious feeling, if you will..

I just feel uneasy..

not when i was a little kid. but, to be honest, the fears kicked in when i started listening to too much urban legend and creepy pasta readings, and watching YouTube videos about the paranormal. Although with something kinda similar to the childish fear of "the monster under the bed" but more like a living corpse or maybe something like the grudge coming from under anything where there is space, being a paranormal event, that is. probably because of the "gap girl" Japanese urban legend. Because of this I usually lift my legs when watching/listening to scary things at night. I know its pretty silly. And also, I don't have spectrophobia, i am kinda afraid of mirrors since they are common in ritual based creepypastas.

No. I sometimes enjoy walks in the dark. After a few minutes, my eyes adjust, and I can see pretty well. It's soothing sometimes. I live in the country tho, with no really close neighbors. I love the night sounds of wildlife and the wind blowing the leaves of trees. Nice!
