Am I mentally disturbed? I'm a 14 years old teenager and I just think something about me is different from other teenagers my age.

You don't give any examples of why you feel you are mentally disturbed, so I really can't tell you. However, you should do a little research on puberty. It will help answer some questions you have on what your body is going through, and what your emotions are doing to you right now. I've posted a link I think would be helpful for you.

If you can provide some examples of what you're going through, I'll try and help, but as your question stands, it's impossible to guess.

Nope not at all. Every 14 yr old thinks the same way you do and youre at an age where youre getting impatient as you want to be older and away from being a little kid and things aren't happening fast enough so be patient as there will come a time when youll wish you were 14 again. We all go thru this and survived so you will too

That's far too 'open' of a question to even comment.

What I can say is .. It's really not that unusual to feel 'unusual' at that age.  Adolescence is a confusing time .. Because the body and brain are making a transition from child to adult. At this point it's hard to comprehend where you fit. And make no mistake, a lot of kids your age feel exactly the same way .. some seem even "normal" (and I use that term loosely), but only because they can 'fake it', or are coping better than others.

There is a lot of things going on that you can't even begin to understand.  Hormonal changes that affect your body and even your way of thinking. As you develop and gain your balance (so to speak) you will get a better understanding about who you are and who you want to be.  Be patient, and focus on making the best choices that will affect your life now and in the future.

You sound perfectly normal to me, if your friends were honest they would probably tell you the same thing.

I don't know anyone who would want to go through those teen years again and 14 years old is a very, very difficult age.  Just hang in there things will get better with each year.
