No, unless you are actively stalking the teacher. Just because you will be attending the same college and have the same interest (history) doesn't make you a stalker.

You're not a stalker. You probably got inspired from that teacher. But you should ask yourself is this is the thing YOU want to do with your life.
Why would anyone think you are stalking. You wanting to follow in a mentor's footsteps is flattering. Stalking would be following the teacher to the college while the teacher was going there, just to be near them.
