I guess people watching is often interesting. I wouldn't go around telling people you do this though, it does sound a little strange.

I don't know if I'd like the idea of my neighbors watching me through darkened windows without me knowing. But what you don't notice can't hurt you.

Yes. If by weird you mean out of the ordinary then yes. Which is what weird means I guess so that's a no Brainer on my part I suppose. But anyways, yes.
