I have a theory about this! So my theory is that they're really afraid to show their true personality in fear of rejection so they cover it up by being incredibly bossy! They feel that when they are being showered with all of the things that they "want" that others are expressing love towards them. They know that people will go through great lengths in order for them to be happy so they use that opportunity to feel important. They may think that emotions are weakness, so they cover it up with a cold hard face.

I had an ex-wife like that and it almost broke me. In some things, you should be picky about as that's part of your personality. There is a term for women who only want expensive things and I call them " gold diggers ". No need to settle for less, just be yourself and people will realize that you're a real person instead of a glamour girl who just wants. Use your emotions instead of just wanting things. Let your heart lead you on the right path.
