I have some guy friends who like girls that they've never really talked to or know. It's ridiculous and immature, but from how they've explained it to me, they see a girl and they think she's pretty and unattainable, therefore she becomes more desired. Most girls tend to not have this mindset and like people who they actually know. Guys are something different, especially in their teenage years.
