They're afraid of rejection, they want to be able to be with you and if you reject them when they were so brave to ask you out in the first place then they get depressed or sad and I'm sure no one wants to feel that way ever. So, if a guy asks you out I would really think about it because it would not only crush him if you said no but you might make a bad mistake in the process and potentially hurt someone.
