To be honest, it depends on the guy..
The thing is, us women kind of assume guys do stuff like ignore us because their minds are elsewhere or they aren't that into us... But sometimes guys can play "mind games" too, and if he is making you feel anxious and worried, then he has control and power over you, so maybe ignoring your texts is a game he is playing!
Obviously you can't tell for sure yet, but I would say try to find a balance.
Don't fall into the game too, but also don't come across desperate or needy... Try to find a way of showing him you are into him, but if he is gonna mess around, then you can just catch him around whenever.
Usually, I don't send more than one text. Then when I see him again in front of all his friends, I say something like, "you didn't text me back the other night - are you shy?"
That's my tactic anyway, not sure if it works lol!
