Well there has been research that when you're in love (like romantically), your brain acts like it's on some sort of drug. I believe that it's cocaine. If not, it's a drug quite similar to that. So I guess you can say that love can make you insane although I wouldn't say that love overall is a form of insanity since not all love makes you do that. I mean platonic love and love for your family doesn't really make you insane, so we can't assume that all love makes you that way.
