So I'm a girl and I have looked through this and verified that this is mostly how you do it. Emphasize more on the making the mood part. That's important. Since you guys haven't kissed before, it's best that you make the mood just right. Make her feel special and remember to touch her gently like on her shoulder, her face, or her hair. Although if you are more of the swoop and attack type of guy, be sure to do it when no body else is around and when you two aren't talking or when she's not in a hurry. You may think that it's romantic or sweet to kiss in front of people or do it while she's talking, but most likely this will turn her off. She may think that you're trying to get attention and that you actually don't mean it when you kissed her or it'll give her the message that you weren't actually listening to her talk. Both are major turn offs.
