Ok so here goes... Hi! I am new and I am gay, I just wanted to know what you would do if your child came home and told they were gay?

I would respect that he was gay or she was a lesbian. It's their life, but I will encourage them to be whatever they want, if it's not bad.

I'd be all like "Cool..Anyone cute at school??"

I'd hug them and tell them thank you for telling me. Then i would pester them about whether they liked anyone.
