I'm not really sure what 'love' means to me to be honest. However I think that like most people it conjures both a mixture of hurt and excitement.

I certainly don't subscribe to 'Hollywood' love or love at first sight, in fact the kind of 'love' portrayed on television and in film is usually extremely shallow and unfulfilling. I don't believe in love at first sight because I don't think it's possible to truly 'love' someone unless you know them inside-out.

In fact, to me, true love comes from getting to know someone so well that you don't even think twice about looking out for them, caring for them and wanting to spend your time with them. I certainly think that true love is far more simple and fulfilling than any form of lust or the 'love' portrayed in films.

I don't really know. I've never actually been in love (although I claim too , being in love with Shane from Westlife, that counts doesn't it?) . Hmm the word 'Love' is funny in itself. I've always asked others what it feels to be in love.

I think love would be a mixture of excitement and pain , however when it comes to myself , I think love is a distant cry for now. I can never picture myself falling in love ,I don't think I will ever go 'giddy with excitement' seeing any guy. Why? Because I am so in love with Shane from Westlife that all I look and see in a man is HIM! Its weird and its annoying and its very obsessive but what can I say? Westlife have officially taken over my life.

Personally though I want love to be special and nurturing. Someone you look at once and feel all giddy inside , like your heart skips more than 111110000 beats! (although you would be dead!). The churning of your stomache when they pass by , and the jelly legs you get when you see them. Thats the feeling I want but Its unlikely. Rather dream about someone I can't have that settle for less than I deserve , and I don't mean to sound snobbish either.

Love to me is where you want to be with someone and they make you feel like everything is flipped forwards, backwards, sideways, and in every way possible.

When I am around my BF, he makes me feel like I have just downed a mug of hot cocoa and it makes my stomach feel all warm inside.

Love is a sensation that everyone can get (unless you are a robot ☺) Yes, you might get a bit mad at times, and even jealous, but these won't matter if you really love someone.
