Big time! Researcher Brene Brown has shown that our mission here on earth is connection. There have been instances when people died without the presence of connection. Relationships are the best way to connect to other human beings.
I don't mean just romantic relationships. I mean work, friendships, family. They all matter. Relationships make us feel alive, loved, needed, purposeful and connected.
Look at the social media phenomenon. It's all about connection and building relationships with each other.
