Easier, when we were kids, we didn't need to have adults bothering us and blaming us for our mistakes. Also, we didn't need to work, pay rent as well as having a spouse and a kid. At least we didn't have as many bad teachers as we did now in colleges and universities.
I think it was a lot easier. We didnt have all the material things children have today. There was a great spirit of community - and you dare not get pregnant out of wedlock. Neighbours would just ask a child playing in the street to go and get some shopping for them and the child would happily go off and do that for them. When you came home from school and your parents were not around then a neighbour was on the look out for you. Would I roll back the clock if I was a child now - yes!
It does depend on our family and how we grew up but I personally think being a child was easier. Your biggest worry then was who you were going to sit next to in class, now it's how to support yourself, get through school, get a job, etc. I wish I took more notice of how easy and fun things were back then. I wish I appreciated my childhood
It depends on the family that you grew up in. For some children life is extremely hard, where as others coast right through childhood with not a care in the world. As parents it is our responsibility to make a childs life easy once they get here, because non of them asked to be here. I feel as though that is the least we can do. But in saying that non of us choose the family that we are in, and so there are good families, and no so good ones, and depending on the one you get, usually depends on how easy your life was growing up.

When Your A Child All You Have To Worry About Is School, Friendship, Teachers, E.t.c But As An Adult You Have To Support Yourself With Nobody There To Help You Through All Your Steps In Life...
