Why Do Babies Have Such Big Heads?

Because the skull is made up of different plates that are open at one end like a flower at birth. As the baby grows older the plates knit together and the head becomes more proportional to the rest of the body. This is why you have to support the baby's head when you hold it.
Hope this helped! :)

I never have noticed such a thing. Where the heck do YOU live anyway, that babies have big heads.
