Not at all.  I didn't see much of my paternal grandparents, but we lived several years with our maternal grandparents who helped raise us.  They adored both of us and made us feel equally special.

No my Maternal Grandparents treated all 4 of her Grand-kids the same but with my Paternal Grandparents they favored the youngest sons Child over the other 3 Grand-kids which was me , my sister, my cousin.
