It important to raise your child up as an individual instead of just one of the "Heard".

You raise them to "Try and always fit in" they will more readily succumb to the "Heard Mentality"  . . . To which most parents say "If Joe Smith jumped off a bridge would you??" . . . Well, yeah . . . If you raised them to be part of crowd or a too submissive and compliant, you have been conditioning them to follow this line of thinking.
