Santa Claus and presents, Tooth Fairy, my ex deadbeat biological sperm donor, that was hard not to tell them the truth about him not loving or caring about any of us, pretending he was a good loving father.
I lie to them all of the time. Every little kid in my hood knows that I keep alligators in my living room.
Many times. Can't even keep count anymore.
That's not a lie, that's just a different perspective which may or may not turn out to be supported by the facts.
But seriously, aside from issues like the Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, I avoid having to misrepresent reality to anyone, regardless of age.
