Ask him out to coffee, and get to know each other a little better. I am sure if he is interested after that he will ask you out. Unless you are a Quaker, I am sure you religion doesn't frown on dating.

Dating is dating and religion -- particularly if you share the same faith -- isn't really a problem. Treat him the same way you'd treat anybody else you want to date. But a word of warning, don't be too "nice" about it.
I don't know what you mean by "godly dating" but it sounds very chaste.
Well, we generally believe that it's not good to drink to the point of unconsciousness, and we are pretty well convinced that casual sex is unfulfilling; but other than that, we are just the male of the species and we are quite comfortable living in today's world.
If you like us, it will not be because we are "godly" but because we are good human beings---although some of our motivations may be slightly different from other good human beings.
And if you are around us long enough, you will discover a few non-negotiable beliefs that we do in fact possess and which may need to be addressed for a long-term or permanent relationship.
