If he does it to the exclusion of life, yes. Otherwisde it is really no different than orther hobbies.
I don't think any age is too old to do anything you want to do , whether you do it or not the want will still be there - same as cheating, its not necessarily the act that is so hurtful but the mere fact that they wanted to do it.. Just an opinion
